The actual size of the artwork is 3x2 inches and it is mounted on a spalted maple and buffalo horn base. The Pirate was inspired by Jeff Madle, a Southern California pirate reenactor. His extensive research and attention to detail has resulted in a very authentic look for his pirate persona.
